Hannah Reede / 'do you need me or do i need you'

In her debut solo show Hannah Reede builds-upon her graduation work. The show is entitled  ‘Do you need me or do I need you?’ mainly shows sculptural work. The gallery acts as backdrop in which Reede’s stages her site-specific installations. The pieces have a poetic presence and rely only on the forces of stress and tension to stay in position. Hannah combines the natural with the man-made, she carefully places ceramics on top of scaffolding, in different parts of the space. During the exhibition the work remains in progress as continues to develop and new ceramic  elements to the installation. The work keeps growing and unfolding for the duration, no viewer sees the same artwork twice.
