Duran Lantink's ‘vagina pants’ now on view at Victoria & Albert Museum in London

Now on view at the Victoria & Albert Museum in London is an exhibition featuring Duran Lantink's iconic "vagina pants." These pants were designed by Lantink for singer Janelle Monáe's music video for the song "PYNK" in 2018, where she celebrated the female body. Each rosy layer is created with a different fabric and texture.

Janelle Monáe, an American soul and R&B singer, producer, actress, and songwriter, gained significant recognition for her hit song "Make Me Feel" released in the same year.

The exhibition ‘DIVA’ runs from June 24th, 2023, to April 7th, 2024. Find more information about the exhibition here.
